A really good friend workedhis way through college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the early 1980s by working at the college radio station. One night, on the proverbial night shift – at something like 2AM and -45* below zero – he asked if ANYONE WAS LISTENING….give him a call if you were…..he received no calls
